grayscale tonal and color ::: digital coloring hw

This is the main character for my first model pack. It's Ancient Egyptian themed with neato gods and goddesses! Her name is Kemisi and she is a princess. She has a cat named Mie, who'll be colored next! I think I might do another drawing with her dolled up in formal wear and makeup. Those egyptians knew how to cake it on.

This looks great, I love the pose and the texture of her dress!

I can't remember what the other coloured one looked like well enough to compare them!! I do like the slightly darker skin though...and the rest all looks good to me!

Are you planning on colouring these paintings again once you decide on their look? The only comment I'd have is that the way you've painted her, to me anyway, looks a little like you weren't sure if you wanted to colour her realistically or graphically, and ended up somewhere in between...and I think it could be stronger if you went one way or the other...maybe a little more graphically since their designs aren't totally realistic? Or just...smoothed more? I'm not sure, other than that both characters are great. I really like Anubis. Are you going to do some prop-designs for them? Or do some drawings of Anubis doing something cool and god-like?

Wait, just thought of something! The light on her looks white...it might be warmer if the highlights were a little more orange or yellow...same with her forehead, I think the highlights need more saturation...or colour, or something! It just might give it a little extra appeal.
